About Us
We’re an early-stage London-based B2B SaaS start-up in the data space.

Our software helps data engineers to gain a holistic understanding of their data dependencies, almost like an x-ray for the data warehouse. This helps them to make changes with confidence and to easily trace incidents, sparing them from figuring out dependencies manually by going through complex SQL logic. Ultimately, our vision is to become the go-to data quality solution for the modern data stack.

Your Role
As a Frontend Engineering Intern, you will be one of our first team members and so you have the unique opportunity to shape the company from the ground up. You will receive a very large degree of independence and responsibility, but your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Implement UI/UX enhancements of existing modules and components
• Build data visualizations using industry-proven frameworks
• Analyze requirements and come up with solutions, create prototypes as needed
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Collaborate closely with our CTO and gain insights into strategic and operational tech road-mapping
• Engage in research projects that lay the foundation for the future of our products
• Join sales and support calls
• Complete ad-hoc tasks to support other areas of the business, such as help to assess and recruit talent

Requirements
The qualifications we are looking for in an ideal candidate are the following:

• Genuine interest in building user interfaces and good knowledge of organizing, defining and creating UI components
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Python or comparable programming languages
• Experience with React and Sass or comparable technologies
• Experience in designing analytics or visualization tools
• Experience in designing B2B web apps
• Experience with test-driven development
• Preferred experience with AWS and containerization technologies like Docker
• Preferred experience in closely partnering with product management to develop the strategy and rationale for features
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Strategic thinking, complex problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering preferred but not required. We are happy to consider applicants without a formal degree if you can demonstrate relevant skills
