About the role
Vitru builds AI-driven QA/QC for building design. This is a junior / early-career role that sits at the seam between our web app and the Revit world — you’ll work on the React/TypeScript product and the Revit add-in/MCP layer that feeds it.
Ideal for someone who knows their way around a Revit model, has started writing code for the web, and wants to grow into AEC software development.
You’ll work on
Features spanning our React 18 + TypeScript web app: Vite, Tailwind, TanStack Query, and the Revit side.
The Revit add-in and MCP tool server: C#/.NET + Revit API, that extract model data and run checks.
Making the two talk: shaping the data that flows from Revit → backend → web UI so it’s accurate and useful to architects/engineers.
Tests for what you ship: Jest on the web side; smoke/integration on the add-in side.
Must have
Hands-on Revit experience — you understand elements, parameters, families, worksharing, and have built or scripted against Revit, for example Revit API in C#, pyRevit, Dynamo, or similar.
Working web dev in JavaScript/TypeScript; React fundamentals or the ability to ramp quickly.
Git fluency and comfort reading an existing codebase before adding to it.
Willingness to learn quickly and grow into a larger engineering role.
Nice to have
C#/.NET and the Revit .NET API specifically; ArchiCAD or other BIM/CAD exposure.
An AEC/architecture/engineering background, or QA/QC and BIM-standards knowledge.
Node/Express or MongoDB exposure.
Tech you’ll touch

About the role
Same product, wider surface. This is a junior / early-career full-stack role. You’ll span the React frontend and the TypeScript/Express backend, and — if your interests run that way — the C#/.NET desktop add-ins and MCP servers that connect Revit/ArchiCAD to the platform.
This role is a good fit for someone with working JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge who wants to grow across frontend, backend, and AI/AEC product development.
You’ll work on
Backend features in TypeScript: packages/api, behind our Express server, reads/writes against MongoDB.
Frontend features that consume those endpoints: React + TypeScript.
Optionally: the Revit/ArchiCAD add-ins and MCP tool servers: C#/.NET — stack is flexible based on your strengths.
Tests for what you ship: Jest across API and client.
Must have
Working TypeScript/JavaScript; willingness to move across the stack.
Basic understanding of REST APIs and a database.
Git fluency.
Willingness to learn, read an existing codebase, and grow with the product.
Nice to have
C#/.NET for the add-in/MCP side, MongoDB, or any practical backend/API project experience.
Interest in AEC / CAD tooling or LLM/agent-based systems.
React, Node/Express, Jest, or testing experience.

About the role
This is a junior / early-career QA automation role focused on end-to-end test automation for a live product with paying customers and desktop clients in the field.
You’ll help build the safety net that lets us ship to staging and production with confidence.
You’ll work on
Building and maintaining our Playwright E2E suite: @playwright/test, across critical user journeys — auth, billing/seats, QA/QC workflows, tenant isolation.
Accessibility checks: @axe-core/playwright, as part of the suite.
Running E2E in CI: GitHub Actions, and keeping it fast, stable, and low-flake.
Partnering with developers on test data, fixtures, and coverage for new features.
Filing clear, reproducible bug reports.
Must have
Hands-on Playwright, or comparable experience with Cypress/Selenium and willingness to move to Playwright.
Strong TypeScript/JavaScript for writing maintainable tests.
A tester’s instinct — edge cases, regressions, flake reduction; comfort debugging CI failures.
Git fluency and willingness to learn from an existing product codebase.
Nice to have
Experience with multi-tenant/SaaS apps, Stripe-based testing, or permission/user-role testing.
API testing, visual/a11y testing, and CI pipeline experience.
MongoDB or test data setup experience.
Interest in AEC, BIM, CAD, or AI tools.
