JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS PROCESS ENGINEER

This position is for a small group of international companies based in England and Kyiv. We’re looking for a technology-informed collaborator to handle the improvement, usage, and relevance of existing technologies and processes of the different companies within the group.

The group is experiencing significant growth and the successful candidate will work directly with the CEO on fundamentally restructuring the work processes by defining what technology and processes to use, and to oversee the implementation of those technologies with existing or new external contractors.

Business process engineering (BPE) is a method in which organisations analyse their current business practices and create new strategies to reduce operational costs while increasing efficiency and productivity. The aim of BPE is to identify issues within a company’s operations and redesign, recreate, and implement new processes to ensure higher productivity. BPE employs an evidence-based approach, drawing from recent developments and research to implement significant changes that drive continuous improvement.

The candidate must be very comfortable with using new technologies including AI/LLM/CRM/ERP, Google Analytics/Adwords, Microsoft Excel, Zimbra servers, Plesk web hosting…

Knowledge of security systems (computing system/banking/video surveillance) would be an additional asset.

Ø Objectives of the position:

● Assist the CEO with daily operational transformation
● Lead technology management initiatives
● Create and oversee the execution of technology implementation plans
● Research and source vendors for technology, telephony, and software solutions
● Drive continuous improvement through:
● Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge
● Identifying and sharing relevant technological developments
● Training colleagues on new tools and best practices

In addition, you need to be able to participate in technical research to help in the marketing development of products.

● Curious by nature, you are naturally interested in new technologies and have a good understanding of existing and upcoming technologies
● You’re very quick to understand software, IT solutions and systems
● You are able to work with other team members, consultants, key customers, and key suppliers to solve specific challenges and leverage growth opportunities
● You’re a ‘problem solver’ and you find solution for any problem you are confronting
● You’re organised, you have a natural ability to work with unorganised people

A working knowledge of English is essential. While fluency is not required initially, the successful candidate will have opportunities to improve their language skills through daily interaction with native English speakers.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Full-time: from 11h00 to 20h00 local time.
Location: Kyiv, Olimpiiska

Basic/Intermediate knowledge of English required, French is an advantage.
