Sumix is a leading company in end-face testing equipment for fiber-optic connectors. We are developing optoelectronic devices for fiber-optic connector end-face measurement and visual inspection. We seek a talented Metrology engineer to engage in our existing and new projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performing tests and measurements using existing measurement equipment
Development and updating of product quality control documentation
Evaluation of measurement errors
Input control for spare parts
Validate and troubleshoot devices through different development stages, prepare related reports
Work closely with other engineering groups and production (i.e.software/electronic/mechanical/firmware development)
Write required documentation and reports about experiments
Collaborate with the team members on the problem-solving process
Qualification and Skills:

Ability to identify failures of measurement equipment
Ability to analyze the accuracy of measurement equipment
Ability to make complex measurements and use different measurement equipment
Good investigative and problem-solving skills with attention to details
Knowledge of statistics and methods of measured data processing
Knowledge of metrological principles and methods for provision quality and accuracy of measurement equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skillsGood skills with Office package
Good written and verbal English skills
