Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our team and lead the development of an innovative polling platform. This platform aims to engage users through interactive polls while incorporating monetization features to drive revenue. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong focus on user experience, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

Front-end Development:
– Integrate third-party authentication services like Firebase for secure user registration and login.
– Develop dynamic forms and interactions to enable users to participate in polls seamlessly.
– Implement payment gateway integration, such as Stripe, to facilitate fee collection for submitting poll questions.
– Build a robust commenting system to foster user engagement and discussion on poll questions.
– Enable social media sharing options to enhance the reach and virality of polls.
– Utilize Webflow’s built-in security features to mitigate common vulnerabilities like Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).

Back-end Development:
– Implement email verification and password reset functionalities to ensure a secure authentication process.
– Define user roles for regular users, poll creators, and administrators, with appropriate access restrictions.
– Design and deploy a custom database structure within Webflow to store poll data efficiently, including questions, options, and votes.
– Develop logic to prevent fraudulent activities, such as multiple votes from the same user.
– Integrate third-party payment gateways like Stripe and manage access to poll submission features based on successful payments.
– Build a commenting system with real-time or email notifications for enhanced user interaction and engagement.
– Create a content moderation system to monitor user-generated content and ensure compliance with community guidelines.
– Implement encryption protocols to secure user data and adhere to data protection regulations.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
– You have at least 1-3 years of experience in Front-end Development, Back-end Development, Authentication and Payment Integration, Security and Compliance, Project Management and Collaboration
– You have worked on projects as a Full Stack Web Developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
– Strong understanding of server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express.js)
– Experience with database management systems, particularly in Webflow or similar platforms
– Familiarity with authentication protocols and payment gateway integrations
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
– Strong communication skills and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences
